WHAT: Network maintenance by our upstream provider will be held on two successive nights, first from 4/05/25 (Saturday) at 11PM until 4/06/25 at 3AM CDT, then from 4/06/25 (Sunday) at 11PM until 4/07/25 at 3AM CDT.
WHY: Rebooting Juniper switches & routers to upgrade their JunOS software, resolving an open security issue to supplement temporary mitigations.
IMPACT: Clients may experience one or more brief losses of connectivity during one of the two windows, each lasting approx. 2 to 5 minutes, as specific routers and switches are rebooted for the upgrade. Carrier & infrastructure redundancy, and traffic re-routing will reduce impacts. We will update half of our core equipment Saturday night, and the remaining half Sunday night, waiting one day in between to allow any unexpected issues with the patched JunOS to be addressed.
